my doctor suggested i occasionally take a day off the pain meds, so as they will be more effective, sort of detox day, not long enough to go into withdrawals but long enough to not build up a tolerance, has anyone tried this? i thought i could just rest ,and drink lots of fluids, for a day, does anyone do this? i know i will have pain, but the second day is the one where withdrawals set in, if there are any, i don't know, i don't know if i am physically addicted, cause i have changed my meds so much, due to this oycodone scare, they put me on morpheine, which seems to be more effective , but makes me feel sort of strange, yet i notice i can take long periods off, like i did a day before without getting real sick, it is like it calms my nervous systum down, so the pain sort of sleeps for longer times. i don't think mixing morpheine and oycondone is great, but i guess i need to switch to ms ir, in the end, cause they are takeing oyxcondone off the shelf?? it is so frikin confuseing. but anyways, has anyone takeing days off, to clear out there systum, esp the gi, systum. and found it helpful.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
