Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I gave it a shot last year for awhile but I couldnt keep it up because of funds but I think I tried long enough (more than a month) to see if I noticed any difference. Unfortunately, it didnt seem to help me. My pain is undiagnosed but I do think it probably some form of neuropathy or nerve pain.
Wishing you the best!

I can already see a huge difference in my jaw. I tend to have my teeth ground together in a permanent bite (STRESS) and have TMJ to boot. The doctor (she's an MD) put two needles in the upper jaw bone area on each side (right in front of my ears) and it has helped tremendously!!!
My only complaint is that I went in for pain in my back and shoulder and she did mostly work on my abdomen (IBS) and a few on my legs and one on each of my hands. When I asked later, I was told it was an overall invigorating series and that next time she would be adding more needles. Other than the jaw, can't say that I notice a whole lot of difference yet. I'll keep you posted...

I took a couple weeks off and had my facet injection, and then went back, and it hurt so bad....and not on my neck...the points that related to them. He also said he could not help unless I could get off all the meds, which at this point is not possible. I was planning to go back after my second injection treatment, but the headaches are back and I will not go....I think it has to do with them working on points that are connected to trigger points. I think for some it does not hurt at all....but for me that was only 1 out of 10 treatments. This is just my experience. But just a word of caution. I truly hope you have great relief from the accupuncture.
It wasn't painful to have done and after the first few treatments it helped take the edge off.
I wish you luck that it helps.
I'm noticing some relief from the neck problems. I'm seriously thinking this is helping. There's no doubt I'll keep going.
I've heard really good things about it i just can't afford to have it
