I can't use bengay or a lot of other topical analgesics because I am doing the gualifenesin protocal and have to watch out for salicylates. I have been using camphor spirits for morning stiffness and it really helps even though I smell like a medicine chest. Also I have been drinking more water and staying away from soda pop and coffee, sometimes use the water add ins like Crystal Light or drink tea. Keeping hydrated helps with fatigue and to flush toxins out of body. I bought an IMAK eyepillow with massaging beads the other day and I have been wearing it to bed the last couple nights. I am still able to wear it with my c-pap and it actually helped my c-pap mask fit better and I have had the best sleep I've had in quite awhile the last couple nights. Another great find are these cheap nobby rubber balls in the kids summer toy area of Big Lots. They are just slightly larger than a baseball, but not as big as a softball and they have a lot of give. I put on lotion and rub them over sore tight areas and they work wonders. I can also roll them under my feet and it is one of the best foot massages I ever had. A set of two only cost me $1 and it is the best dollar I ever spent. I use compact fluorescent light bulbs through out my house, but I have a bunch of them above my bathroom mirror. I find on days without much sun if I go into the bathroom and stand there in the light for 15 to 20 minutes it helps to emprove my mood (I can be getting ready, doing hair and makeup or do some stretches during that time.). None of these are a cureall but they are just little wonders to make the pain bareable and help me through the day. Any of you found some simple changes that help make your days easier to bear please feel free to list them.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
