I need advice on what to name my newest pet (which, by the way, I would recomend pets as a tool for pain reief)... As with the past few days, my pain was very bad today. By noon, I was huddled in bed, in pain and terrified. Eric (my darling hubby) and I talked, and he convinced me that I should get up- he was right, too. Sometimes , lately, I feel it's harder and harder to get up and get going when I hurt. So, I told Eric that if I were to get up, it'd better be "worth my while!" So, he took me out to the Cheesecake Cafe for lunch (the name says it all). Then, we went bird shopping. We already have 2 finches, and have talked for months about getting another bird. Well did we ever get another!!! We got a Quaker Parrot, very cute. (They're known as the poor man's parrot because they're so much cheaper than the big parrots!).He's grren and grey, and pretty scrappy. Apparently, he can be taught to talk! Now, I need a name....any ideas? So far, we're considering Finnigan, Quaker, Walter or Charlie. I'd love your suggestions.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
