I saw the nurse practioner today who informed me I had extensive surgery & a lot of damage. They removed my medial menicus It had 2 large tears & could not be fixed. I also have my upper & lower leg grinding together with no cushioning. I will need a knee replacement but will put it off as long as possible. It also showed extensive arthritis. I have started glucosomine/chondritin. Has this helped anyone? My Dr made me sign a pain contract. I really felt screwed cause I spent 3 days in absolute agony becuase the Norco did'nt work & due to the contract I could'nt go to the ER( It was a weekend & she was'nt on call) Its a shame we have to be forced to sign a contract & wind up suffering because of it!
