This week after the holidays I plan to stand everyday as long as I can for one week without taking medication. With a sign that says " I have an Invisible Illness called Fibromyalgia in the front. And I need help with a saying for the back. So please everyone come up with something to help me get the attention from people who pass me. I am tired of waiteing, begging for help and a cure. Too many monopolize on this Illness while me and others are made to suffer and lose everything. Seems these days in order to get attention from the right people?? Is for the public to see someone suffer to the breaking point. Sad isnt it.

(and if you want to reach more people, make youtube video daily of your deterioration. Be specific. Tell how you'd like to be standing on the corner giving "FREE HUGS" along with the other people on the internet, but you can't - because it physically hurts. If you end up walking like a little old lady, show it. You want to be public - do it. Show that invisible disabilities aren't so invisible.)
or,
just kidding, I am really a drug addict.
I don't know whay Fibro is considered invisible. All you have to do is really look at someone with it and you can see the pain. You can see it in our faces, in our body movement, the uncontrolable flinches and jerks that occur when a pain stabs from out of nowhere. The way we walk, stand or sit. I think it is very visible if people would just LOOK!
