Well as i read on the last post on this it was suggested we started up a new one so i did. lol. I was on vicoden for 8 months, my pain became worse and my tolerance to the vicoden wasnt as good either after long term use. I saw my Pain management dr today for the first time, one of the things he did was take me off vicoden and stared me on a high dose of the fentanyl patch. now you have to undertsand i have alot of injuries we arent sure whats going on but basically i have pain from the top of my head to the tips of my toes LITERALLY . I NEVER thought i would get addiquate pain relief to where i could feel somewhat human.. UNTIL this patch. i am so shocked at how well it works. As suggested my my pain doc i put it on my chest so it was closer to my heart. It really works great. So now i am new to this patch. um what do i wanna do if i want to take a shower, of course i do lol do i have to cover it? any other hints? i am supposed to change it every 3 days.
