I am currently taking Soma for my muscle spasms that I get due to the damage caused by the bone growths I have in by back, leg and feet. Most of my pain is caused by muscle spasms that cause my chest to tighten down even harder on the masses. Any movement to the point of even breathing causes the muscles to rub against the bone spurs the protrude from the masses. When this happens the muscles wind up torn causing even worse pain. It is a vicious cycle. I need to know if there is anything that might be stronger than soma. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'll try anything! Right now my best friend is ice. I can lay on it for hours. I basically have to freeze myself until numb. I do take precautions not to burn myself, but it does work when I am having a really bad episode. God Bless, Dar
