Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. I was wondering how you get your doc to prescribe morphine. Most docs hate to do that. When I have a bad flare I can get duragesic patches which do help but make me sleepy and I have babies, and housework. Maybe you can try the patches, or maybe that is just a lateral move??? Not sure. I know this doesn't address the homeopathic thing but, I have never tried acupuncture and won't. My back would never tolerate that. I can barely have my husband lightly rub on my back.
The high dose of morphine, is it giving you bad side effects? Is it giving you relief? Just wondering.
