In the past month my back pain has gotten a lot worse. On April 27th the pain got so bad I had to go to the ER. Just my luck on the way downstairs about halfway down my left leg started getting a Jello like feeling and before I could react my left leg went out on me and down the rest of the stairs I went. Now the pain is almost unbearable and I do not want to move. I regain my strength and go to the ER. The doctors assistant took a look at me and had Xrays done. He said that the radiologist will look over them in the morning but he said it looked like my disk degeneration and retrolethisis was not getting better. So they prescribe me percocet and flexeril and sent me home. I had a follow up appt with my family doctor on Thursday May 1 and asked him to refill my prescription because the ER only gave me enough to last till Thursday when I saw my doctor. Well he said that he couldn't do this because he did not renew his lisence to prescribe that type of meds. So I say ok thats fine and go home. Then today Monday may 5th I saw my neuro doctor to check on my medicine for my migraines and I told him what happened and he doesn't want to put me on percocet because he thinks it could trigger my migraines or make them worse. So now I have been 5 days with no meds besides flexeril for my pain. The pain is getting worse and when my neuro checked my back he noticed that my muscles were spasming and causing my muscles to bulge on the lower left side of my back. He said he did not know if my spine was causing this or it was my body trying to guard itself from pain. Why is it so hard to get any pain relief I am having more and more trouble moving around and don't really have an appetite anymore because of all this and I have been having really bad dizzy spells for about a week now I have no idea as to what is causing this.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
