I was told by PC dr. and surgeon to seek out pain managment due to pain level's.I've been on vicodine for over 15 yr.s now, andPC gave me some percocet to help till I get pain clinic appt.I did try one pain dr. with a horriable ordeal.I felt he was looking down his nose at me.He wasn't in the room 5 minute's and red flaged me 4 times. He said he'd try to work with me buti'd hve to go to hospital every month for tsting because I was high risk. Why?I guess it might be cuz i'm in recovery 15yr. now for cocaine,I smoked cig's,have more than one dr. treating my pain and i can't remember the last one.So what i'm looking for is how to deal with pain dr,cuz the truth does'nt work.I'm always honest when it come's to my medical issues,I never thought it would cost me in the end.So i'm waiting for my referal for new pain dr.So if you have any good info it would be great.
