I have cervical spinal stenosis. I can't seem to locate a lot of web sites on this situation, only lumbar. I am literally scared to death. I get up in the am, not even looking forward to the day. I was told I needed surgery from one of the best Dr.'s(neurosurgeons in our town, then I was told by the pain mgmt. Dr. not to have surgery until you can't move your arms, etc....I can still move everything, some things with a bit of pain, but not that bad. I am caught between what the surgeon said, and what the pm dr. said. I would think the surgeon knows what he is doing, since that is his specialty....but who's to say I really need surgery. Dang I am confused as heck. Any comments would be most appreciative. Thank you.
