Hey folks, a little advice would be appreciated. Last Friday night, I was going downstairs, and I overstepped the edge of the step and leaned back really far to catch my balance. And I threw something out in my lower back, which is not the problem part of my back. It hurt to push on one vertebra.
I went to the chiropractor, and he adjusted my pelvis. I hurt a little worse. So I figured, "OK, give him another shot. Maybe it'll work this time." Wrong. I went back two days later, and I'm even worse. Now instead of just one vertebra feeling a bit wrong and hurting to push on, my whole pelvis/ backbone area hurts.
I've been icing and taking Aleve. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Chiropractors jolt the spine back into alignment. Going right through tight muscles. Sometimes it takes tow or three days after for what they did to feel better. I never used to go every day, Ii waited 2 or 3 sometimes I didn't have to go back since I allowed myself the time to heal.
Even the best of chiropractor want patients back again sooner, but I don't listen to them, I listen to my body.
Also as soon as I get home I used to ice down the back real well.
