Help! I am quitting my current job, and I lose my insurance July 1. I have paid my deductible and reached my max out of pocket lifetime this year. My doc suggested that cobra would pick up my coverage where it has left off, but it looks like they do not cover anything that has been previously treated. I am planning on getting individual insurance so that I can have job flexibility for health purposes. What should I do? I am not sure which way to go.
