I have a lot of different joint and muscle pains off and on. But I have one group of symptoms i am having a really hard time with. I have pain in every joint on the left side of my body at one time. It also includes muscles in my neck, head and face. My left hip and left shoulder are the worst. Nothing really makes it stop. Narcotics take the edge off. Hot baths and ice packs help a little. Exercise used to help (stretches) but no longer make any difference. The average length of duration for one of these "attacks" is about 8 hours. A friend with similar problems was just diagnosed with PMR, polymyalgia rheumatica, an auto immune disease. It is supposed to be self-limiting, going away on its own after two years or so. I know I need to have my sed rate checked. Does anyone else have pain like I described? What works to help you manage yours? Thanks, Cindy
