Hey everyone! I am new to the group, but not new to pain. I was diagnosed in 1993 with MPS and FMS. I take Dilaudid for my pain along with Ambien and Soma. I used to get three prescriptions for the Dilaudid at a time with fill dates written on them. Now I have to pick up as Rx every 2-4 weeks depending on the mood the doctor is in. This is getting very expensive with gas prices as they are because it is a 70 mile round trip just to pick up the Rx. That doesn't inlcude my trip to the drug store. The doctor says this is a rule that was changed by the FDA, but I be darned if I can find anything to back it up on the internet. Anyone have any idea where to look for this kind of regulation? Thanks for your help.
