I'm trying to find others out there that may have the same thing as me and have a name for it or know what to do to fix it. I've had abdominal pain for over a year. It has something to do with my bile duct and what's around it. In the past month I've been to the doctor and ER numerous times. Other times when the pain would get severe, my blood tests would reveal raised liver enzymes. That didn't happen this past month. Everything came back normal. So they treated me like a drug addict. They kept refusing to give me pain meds. I've tried ice, heat, mixing meds, just about everything. On my latest trip to the ER, they gave me something that was supposed to last longer than morphine. It worked for a little bit longer. I think my body is getting used to the pain meds so it seems like my pain wont respond to the regular dosage. I don't want to be careless enough to OD trying to make my pain stop. My case manager put in a referral for me to go to pain management, so hopefully they wont think I'm some junky out for a good buzz!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
