I have a tendancy towards insomnia (mostly trouble falling asleep, although sometimes staying asleep). For the past few months I've been having really excruciating pain in my back. I've been to a ton of doctors, no one knows what it is yet. Meanwhile the pain is making it harder then ever to fall asleep and when I do sleep it's not as restful, I have dreams where my back hurts, and I don't sleep as long. Does anyone else have problems with insomnia and chronic pain? any tips for dealing with it? the less sleep I get the harder it is to deal with the pain, the harder it is to deal with the pain, the less sleep I get.
