I had inner ear surgery in the early '90s called a stapendectomy. I also had the other ear done in the mid '90's. The first one was done in Winter Haven FL. The Dr that did the first one has died, and my records cannot be located. Therefore, no one knows what kind of metal was used to replace the stapes bone. Every radiologist in town has been called and not one of them will attempt an MRI. We all know that a CAT scan is only so good. The only option I have is to have the surgery redone, which chances are will lower my hearing %. The 2nd surgery wasn't real successful, so I don't hear real well out of that ear. Does anybody have any suggestions? The dr's believe I have RSD now, but a MRI would confirm it.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
