Alot has happend the past several months,The Dr.I was seeing started her new job.The Other Dr.that works with her, same Pain Clinic,is now my new Dr.His idea of pain management & hers are night and day.I've been going to this clinic for 10 yrs.Seen both w/no prob..Dr tells me he is more conservative, that my other Dr. was very generous w/her patients. He says"life is for living"that i'm to young..He cuts me from 60mg meth.4xdaily to 50mg 3x a day.In less than three mo.Needless to say i'm feak'n out here.My insurance changed at around this time, and looked as thou he was not on the ppo list.Good time to ask for referral Yeah! Nope the other clinic is more expensive .Needless to say i really need to get a new Dr...We are NOT on the same page here. The other clinic is a great place. Drs.are wonderful..How do i deal w/this situation w/out burning any bridges.I can afford this other Dr.but without his referral i can't get a appointment..Any thoughts,,I'm 53,w/ddd,arthritis ,knee replacement ,other knee ,and hip soon,Sorry so long...Luv/Peace/Joy Dawn
