I am done having kids, and want to get my tat, I am just wondering if anyone has gotten one since they have had chronic pain, where it was, and how much it hurt.

it doesn't hurt as much as chronic pain does, that is for sure. What is the deal with tats and kids? Don't make the connection unless you are pregnant while getting one.

I just wanted to make sure I got something meaningful, that is all, and I didn't want it stretched out by pregnancy.

Yes I did get one while I had the chronic pain. I had one done on my forearm and it wraps around the arm and is pretty big. I didn't hurt any more than the one on my shoulder did and that wasn't very much. It actually releived a lot of the pain for me. It was a centralized stinging sensation that goes numb quickly. When you go over bone it hurts alittle more but not too bad.

Zazasgranny's right x It sure doesn't hurt as bad as the everyday pain x I wont lie n say it doesn't hurt at all cos it does but It's not as bad as most people think x I have 6 x all done since I've had chronic pain x The hardest one was on a wrap around band on my arm x I sleep on my side so that was particularly uncomfortable x It really depends on where you plan on having it done (as some places hurt more than others) and what causes your chronic pain x Taking your pain meds before you go certainly helps x your less focused on the chronic pain then x Hope this helps a little x

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
