Sure we have increased costs here for most things (food is going to be a big problem because of the drought but will improve eventually) but we also have just had a rise in payments which we get every 6 months along with a payment towards utilities, every 3 months and you also get a discount on the phone, power and gas bills as well as on council rates for the house. As we don't have the power or gas on here we get a rebate each year on production of receipts for monies spent. This year we got nearly $250 and next year it should be even more. And everyone on benefits is eligible for discounted ($4.90) Rx drugs.
