Hi all, just need a little moral support. I had the Lumbar ESI today and a rt side SI injection. The procedures went well (thank you all for the encouragement the other day) but now I feel a lot of pressure in the low back ouch ouch ouch and a kind of girdle cramping (might be unrelated). I had been sitting (with ice) for awhile working on schoolwork with my kids so maybe that aggravated it? Now I'm trying heat in a recliner... I had the procedure at 730 this morning so I'm confused about why I'm feeling this now. I slept for a long while afterwards and didn't have this pain/pressure when I got up. Anyway, I don't think it's an emergency (dr office is closed) but I am a little worried and can feel the anxiety building and need to turn to you guys as I'm here alone with my kids and I don't want to freak them out. As those who deal with anxiety disorders know, it can get hard to remember things objectively or put them in context - context. So I thought I'd post here and try to stop that train!!!! It's a plus that my kids are teens but they are still children and the younger one is especially fearful about me. I have Tramadol but it really makes me sleepy and blurry eyed so I take it mainly at bed or when my husband is home (that will be in 5 hrs). Or maybe I could try some Xanax plus a lidoderm patch. I also have some vicodin which we were switxhing off bc I can handle 1/2 dose itakes my lips numb. Geesh sometimes I feel like a freak of nature. Well...thanks for reading and I appreciate your support. I hope you are all managing ok today.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
