Great idea!
As I look for answers or helpful suggestions I'd prefer to be able to turn to those with similar symptoms ... and as we all know, CFIDS has a wide range from which to choose ... and they seem to come and go at will. Every day we don't know what might hit us.
Cancer. Many different kinds. Heart disease. Many different kinds. If I had breast cancer and wanted to ask specific questions would I go to a doctor who treats, or individual who had prostate cancer? Of course not. I would want to talk to someone who had circumstances similar to my own.
Agreed ... this is a "pain in the butt" disease. But I choose to stay as informed as I can ... and that included utilizing the information available here. I want to learn from ALL including those who travel the same journey.
I found much comfort and affirmation in the first book, as she shared her story and how she struggled with her illness.
The 2nd book went way more in depth and asked the reader to delve deep and face their narrative. Whatever your story(or script) is, you can rewrite it but the first step is being aware of what it is.
Our stories tell a lot about us and I like the idea of having somewhere to post them. ^_^
It can be a little tuff since not everyone can read/write long entries, but I think it would nice to have a place to tell my story if I wanted.
