I don't remember if we did this here for the thanksgiving holiday or not, but I think I need to list the things in my life that are good. So often we talk about what is bad (which we need to do), but right now I get the feeling that many of us need to remind ourselves life isn't all cfs. It has not and will not take it all away!!!!!
My list
1. my kids
2. my husband (not told enough)
3. my family
4. my cats, dog, fish
5. crisp winter days that put pep back in my step
6. childhood memories that bring a smile or make me laugh
7. lightning bugs/lady bugs/crickets/grass hoppers
8. stars
9. a gentle breeze
10. the beach, even when I can't go, I can listen to it on a cd... how awesome
11. dancing in the middle of the living room (on good days) with my little boy
12. good days
13. microwaves (without my family would have forgotten what hot food was)
14. the sound of a train in the distance
15. good, steady rain at night
16. birds -funny little creatures
17. a nice long, hot, quiet, bath
18. the feel of grass between my toes (mud is cool too)
19. hugs
20. friends (yes that means you)
Anyways, I think this is a great way to feel better I know I do now. I realise I could go on all night. The list of good really is longer than the bad. Please share your list!
