I found this quote kind of amusing (and promising):

Dr. Bell: Yes, mold and environmental toxins can definitely cause or initiate ME/CFS. Somehow toxins affect the cytokines in a way similar to the classic mononucleosis infection to set off the illness. "
I find this amusing because Bell had said a few years ago that there was a running joke in his own office about how the waiting room fills up every November. Bearing in mind that his office is in upstate NY, I just had to write him. November, the air turns cold outside, and everyone heads indoors. They check the weatherstripping, close the windows, turn on the heat, constantly recirculate everything drifting around in the air supply...and his waiting room fills up.
I'm glad to see he's starting to think about the role of toxins in this illness.
