and brain freeze itermitent. That's me today in a nut shell. How is christmas suppose to get done? I still have over half my shopping to do. Next Sunday I have to do a special mid-afternoon Chrismon service after preaching twice in the morning - DH is great, but he doesn't understand that the joy I have with family and friends this time of year is being dimished by my lack of energy and alertness. I KNOW, Christmas is not about gifts and food, but with 9 grandkids and wonderful adult children it is a time when we all get together at the same time. the kids don't understand why things aren't the same as always. I guess I'm just having a pity-party today. Sorry.

How can the season be special, when it is a struggle just to get from one day to the next? I understand how you feel; there IS no energy left over for enthusiasm.

That's ok, We are here to listen and give advice on what we think we should do. You are right that chritsmas is not really about gifts, food, carols and other things. It is all about being with the family and the birth of Jesus and also thinking of the people who can't afford christmas- makes me kinda sad?

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
