I have had cfs for 6 years but it was only diagnoised last year. My son aged 7 has in the past 12 months been having alot of what I would call symptoms to cfs. Which started form him catching a virus. He is having problems learning at school e.g. fallen behind on his school work 6 months in a 3 month period. It is generaily affecting his whole life. The school do not want to know. The gp referred my son to a pedatrition but his answer was I have fobbed you of throw this whole consaltation and I have never heard of cfs. Have I got to go throw this 6 year battle all over again and how do I get him eduacted instead of being shouted at in school for as they call it lazy days. Has any one got any similar problems or any advice?
