Hi all--an aquaintance of mine recently told me about this great charity, Modest Needs. They help out people who are in financial straits with a one-time grant. You have to apply and they check out your story, and then donors donate money to your need. For instance, they paid off this one man's truck for about $1400, because he couldn't afford that last big payment, and had tried to get help from other sources, etc. and was in danger of losing his truck. Please check it out if you need some help--I know a lot of CFIDS patients, including myself, have terrible financial problems.
