I haven't had a cold in over three years, although I'm exposed to sick people all the time -- even in my own house. And there's been a wicked flu virus going around this season, but has passed me by. My white blood count has been off-the-chart low for as long as I remember, which reflects a low immune system, not surprising for a CFIDS person. So why don't I get sick? I used to think it's because of the mega vitamins and supplements I take (I'm up to 25 pills a day!) But I read on someone's journal that their getting a cold is a GOOD thing. I asked one of my many doctors about this and he just said "Maybe you're healthier than you think you are." I think he's an idiot and is clueless. I trust your opinions more that most docs! Could someone be kind enough to fill me in? Thanks.

my wife is dealing with a second round of cervical cancer 4 years after her first round where the md told her she was cured. She is struggling with the idea of how to fight this time as she and I have not yet had any children and we really wanted one. However due to other issues in her health we would most likely need hormone therapy for her to get pregnant and so she is fearful of causing cancer...
I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
