I haven't had a cold in over three years, although I'm exposed to sick people all the time -- even in my own house. And there's been a wicked flu virus going around this season, but has passed me by. My white blood count has been off-the-chart low for as long as I remember, which reflects a low immune system, not surprising for a CFIDS person. So why don't I get sick? I used to think it's because of the mega vitamins and supplements I take (I'm up to 25 pills a day!) But I read on someone's journal that their getting a cold is a GOOD thing. I asked one of my many doctors about this and he just said "Maybe you're healthier than you think you are." I think he's an idiot and is clueless. I trust your opinions more that most docs! Could someone be kind enough to fill me in? Thanks.
