My health has not been well for some time now. Starting about 8 years ago. It started with strange allergies to foods and medicines, insomnia and extreme fatique. I made it through grad school, got married and started a family. Then my symptoms got worse. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am on plaquinel now and that seems to help with my arthritis, however my other symptoms are still there. I have problems sleeping, severe allergies to caffeine and meds, extreme fatique and muscle weakness and recently muscle twitching as well. I have been through every test possible in the last 2 years and to 1/2 a dozen doctors. My chiropractor recently mentioned I may have CFS on top of the RA. Whenever my blood is taken my epstein barr is elevated. I know it is always dormant in your blood, but I have also read that it can be related to CFS. I am taking daily vitamins and trying to exsercise. I haven't worked in 15 months and was hoping to go back to teaching, but I am very worried, as I never know how my health will be from day to day. Does this sound like CFS? Any suggestions?
