Anybody ever ask a doctor to fill out a form for the registy of motor vehicles so that you can get a card for your card so you do not have to walk long distances.
Their are a number of reasons why one can qualify for the card or plate.
I thought the first one on the list I would quailfy for. That would be..
Not able to walk 500ft. without resting.
I showed this to my doc almost a month ago.
Not sure what she made of this.
I gave her a self addressed envelope to send it in or said she could call me to pick it up when she filled it in. She said, "either way"...
I never recieved a call but nothing from the the dept of motor vehicles.
I almost feel like she put it aside and did nothing with it.
Her office seems to be disorganized and my testings are not being ordered. I hate to call to ask about this too.
I know I should probably find another doctor but its hard enough to find a doctor who believs your sick in the first place.
Just wondering whats others opinions are about something like this.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Blessings to you today Rosanne. Darla
I would not even think twice about calling them about this - after all, what do they think you will do in the meantime? Sit in the parking lot to rest? It shouldn't be a big deal for them at all. Try to keep in mind that the tremendous amount of effort required to do simple things is only on OUR end - not other peoples'. ALLOW them to help you when they can.
You can get them from the Dept. of Motor Vehicles.
