I have a sister, and I knew former workers who were virulently opposed to Halloween.
They said that if you were dressed up as a witch you were admiring sorcery (which is evil IF that's what you're really doing).
One person said, "God has Easter & Christmas, so I guess people give Satan Halloween!!"
I know that the origin of Halloween was that it was the eve of All Saints Day and that the saints were "hallowed" (same word as the beginning sentence in the Lord's Prayer). It didn't have anything to do with costumes, candy or trick or treating.
So, do you dislike Halloween?

Is it wrong to deny someone from serving them a meal. I have a friend who comes over to my house and he always demands me for food. To be honest I dont consider him much of a friend. He is more of an aquatince. We sometimes go for walks together or play video games. He also has mental illness and his is more severe than mine. When I first met him he would come to my house and stay for 30 min...
However, I don't believe people are condemned to hell for eating Hallowe'en candy, or dressing up a bit. And the kids are SO cute!
I also think a lot of people have no awareness or understanding to the significance of this whole occasion, or the images and symbols used. Well, except for spiders. And speaking of spiders, why do people have to have spiders decorating their houses that are 6 feet tall?
As for candy, I accept anything with chocolate, but especially Reese's Pieces.
