This is a place for everyone who loves Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (or those who are seeking Him), to come and discuss important issues in their lives and find support from fellow believers in regards to their faith and life. We uphold the Bible and living a Christ-like life, not as a way to heaven, but as a reflection of our love for God.

i was talking to some co-workers tonight about the end times. a couple of questions came up and i was able to answer them but then i did a little fact checking as i am not well studied or read in Revelations and i came across the split seven year time period. i have forgotten the significance, speaking in the reference of types and shadows, of 42 months or 3 1/2 years. can anyone refresh my memory?

I wish I could help, I never really got into the study of the end times though, seems there is so much to learn and validate about what God is saying for our lives right now that I haven't spent much time on the topic. I hope you find the answers you are looking for though. God bless you with His wisdom and revelation, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Ok, now I am curious! The most I know is that I read through Revelation once many years ago. And I read quite a bit of the 'left behind series' (not that I count everything there accurate, but?); do they describe Israel under attack by the world in the end?

Tekoa has a group here on DS called "End Time Prophesy" -- you should really check it out.

thanks chuck...i guess this is really a tough question and i didn't mean so...typology in the Bible is a rather deep subject and not one that i have dwelt on for years so i have forgotten more than i can remember. and to be perfectly honest....i think the only thing that understanding types and shadows does for a person is perhaps to reveal some scriptures to a different level. but thanks for the tip and i will check it out...hopefully i don't get too deep of an answer!

A deep longing accompaniedby the deepest Love some days. The heavy fog mayreturn and the next day, it may recede.Once again, it's...

Today is my 25th birthday, to my somewhat lack of surprise I can see already no one really seems to care. I've always been the kinda person to make sure that everyone I Care about feels appreciated and knew somebody had their back. I can count 4 times this year when I Went out of my way to make sure a "friend" felt good on their birthday, especially if they got left hanging. Its early in the...
