I am a single parent. I had my daughter when I was seventeen years of age by an older man ther manipulated me. I ended up being involved with him for years. I finally left him after being in a relationship with him for several years. I am now in a loving relationship with a gentlemen who's spiritual like me. We study the Bible together and we pray together. I've been in a relationship with him of and on for seven years. He has had difficult obstacles to deal with as well as me but we've supported eachother over the years. However, my daughter's father has tried over and over again to bring me down and now he's using my child against me. My daugther has been deviant over the last three years. She calls me out my name, she has ran away, and worse of all she's failing in her studies. I understand that children go through this stage when they become teenagers but I believe that her father plays a big role in her behavior. Instead of him being with me as a parent, he's against me. Her father has been mentally, physically, and verbally abusive towards me for years. I believe he's obsessed with me. Please pray that me and my daughter's relationship will get better and that she'll start improving in her studies. I also need prayer because I have been having anxiety because it's hard for me to cope with my daughter's negative behavior. I appreciate DailyStrength and the people who are members of the cite.
