Hi. I just found this group and joined tonight. My name on here is Mert but it is actually Mary Lou. I am a mother of two and grandmother of two. I have been a Christian for 31 years and am still growing in my faith. I joined DS because I am dealing with a chronic back injury and my pain doctor suggested I join a support group and we do not have one in town. Beside dealing with my back, my biggest hurdle in my life is dealing with workman's comp. Other than that I have a wonderful husband, family and friends. I love my church and my Bible study. I believe God gave me a passion for sewing and I sew little girl purses and am successful in craft shows. I look forward to getting to know my brothers and sisters in Christ here.

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
