I belong to a large gym and as some of you know, it can be a worldly place. Some days I run on the treadmill, and other days I lift weights. I used to run with an iPod, but lately I've been leaving it at home. Now, I'm into the habit of praying and talking to God while I run. I give Him thanks for creating me, for allowing me the good health to be able to exercise, and for sending His Son to forgive my sins and give me eternal life. What an awesome experience! I invite Jesus to run with me, and my steps feel very sure. I visualize myself running to Jesus, which is really what I'm trying to do with my whole life, not just my workouts. There are lots of worldly distractions, including people having cell phone conversations or attractive women engaging in gossip, but the more I focus on Christ, the more I can tune that stuff out. I enjoy music as much as the next person, but the gym is a great opportunity to worship God and Christ, I've learned. Anyone else run with Jesus?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
