I'm curious as to why everyone blames God for everything. I find it funny that when we're struggling, it's automatically his fault. Not the fault of the person who wronged us, not our fault for making a bad decision, not the fault of the people with freedom of choice. Which is what God gave us...he gave us free will and free choice. So why is it that when things go wrong...it's always his fault.
I hear people always saying that they're trying to "find" God. He's always there...he always has been, even if you've never believed in him. He's always been there. I, personally, think it's not God people are searching for...it's answers. They have questions and because they can't get a physical answer from God...they call it "finding" God.
I know it's all to do with God being perfect and being the creator...and because he has a hand in everything...he must have made their lives the way they are. Not realizing, that people are also the ones to blame. But why don't we blame Satan?? Why always God?? Why not the person responsible??
Sorry, but now it's become a vent...I'm just bothered by people who say they're trying to "find" God, while they're really searching for answers or expecting instant happiness. It bugs me, and I'm sick of it.

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
While many of us may not go so far as to think he doesn't exist (since the bible clearly tells us otherwise), I agree with you, that we find it very easy to put all of the responsibility on God, and we are still so often living under the veil of the enemy. This is exactly what satan wants, and when this happens, he rejoices. He can't get directly at God, so his prime directive is to keep Gods children feeling separated from the Father. When we are separated from God, or think we are, we lose power to fight against the wiles of the devil, and the veil thickens.
God is, by His very nature, perfect and absolute love. So anything in our lives which is not the result of absolute love, cannot be from Him. Now, don't get me wrong... sometimes when I am disciplining my child, she will make claims that I don't love her... but the truth is that if I didn't love her, I wouldn't bother disciplining her. Not everything that comes from God is guaranteed to "feel" good, like my daughters discipline, but it is guaranteed to be FOR our good, ultimately.
I understand your frustration all too well. I would just encourage you to pray about it, and to pray for the people who are afflicted by this veil... and ask God to show you how to do your part in helping to lift it. Remember, its not all about these individuals. While, yes, they may have made poor choices which led to the situation they then question... the point is not how they got there, its why they are stuck there... and its the sole ambition of the father of lies to keep them there. satan wants for us to let our (understandable) frustration work on his behalf too, separating us who know about his foolishness from those who are still so affected by it... so give that frustration up to the Father, and pray. God will use you.
Through every trial there's a reason behind it. He's teaching us, he's getting us out of our comfort zone, teaching us to rely more on him. After all if we don't have him..what do we have? NOTHING!
GOD IS FOR US!! SATAN COMES TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY US! NOT GOD, If that was the case.. we wouldn't be here. We are all here for a purpose..a GOD given purpose!
All of my God times I praise God for.
But I undestand what you mean. Some people think they need balck and white proof of Him and otherwise will not believe.
I know it shouldn't bother me this much...but it does. I think it's annoying to say that someone's "finding" God...he's not black and white. Now, I'm wondering why this bothers me so much.....*sighs*
