A Christian dating site sounds like a good idea - how about praying to meet a Christian woman and in the meantime go and find yourself a church where you can grow as a Christian. There are plenty of Christian women in churches your age. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Good advice so far ... I will definitely pray over it. I haven't done so yet because I realize I'm not quite ready. I have a lot going on in my life right now, so I need to stabilize some things (my living situation and finding a job - I have and am praying over those) before I turn my attention to dating.

As for church, I am involved with one right now, but unfortunately, it's a very small congregation, and the members are mostly over 60.

WHen you pray, THANK GOD that He is right now at work in your life and in your intended partners life, and trust His timing that He will bring you together at precisely the perfect moment. She already is out there, right now, living her life, growing in Him, praying for you... and God is watching the whole thing, guiding you both according to His perfect plan. Bless her life in the present moment. Don't pray "bring her to me"... as a parent, thats irritating... lol. Half the time I'm cooking dinner and the kids come TO THE STOVE and tell me they are hungry. HELLO... My kids COULD just trust that I know they need to eat and as soon as the food is ready it will be presented to them WITHOUT their harassing me for it. Let Gods soup simmer, so to speak. I know I'm dealing with my own human emotions and limitations, but when my kids harass me for food that I am already cooking, it feels somewhat like they don't trust me that I'm already working at meeting their needs before they ask. And if I, as a flawed woman can know what my kids need... how much more is GOd likely to just call you to the table when the time is right. Don't tell him how to do His job... just trust him and thank Him that he continues doing the work in you, and in her, in preparation... and ask Him to help you cultivate patience in the process as you await His Divine timing.

Maybe a Christian dating site will be in His plan, maybe not... but you can bet that if it is, it will be one of those things that you just easily happen upon, not something you have to hunt down. Live Christ. Also be prepared for the possibility that God may have a woman already planned for you who doesn't yet know Him... so don't put limitations and expectations on Gods plan. Whomever she is, whether she knows Him already or not, your union will be annointed.
