Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Do you think this is literal, or alegory?

I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
The temple of God, is the human body no? It says, the tabernacle of God IS with men right? Him that overcome, which is the patterns of this world, will I make a pillar in the temple of God.
and I will write upon HIM the name of my God, and the NAME of the city of my God, which is NEW JERUSALEM, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME. (Rest)
In other words, this place isn't a actual city. The Kingdom of Heaven is within us. We make up the God Head.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God IS with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Notice it says, is with men. And that he will dwell with them.
Now I have to ask, anyone, what are we waiting for? What more do we ask for if God is NOW dwelling with us?
Do you get what I'm saying? This is definately the heart of the matter no?
Show me any place in the bible where it says this is an event that hasn't happened already.
Look up the words trumpet, and cloud in a strongs bible word dictionary.
Keep in mind that Isa. says, Lord how long will I have to listen to the sound of this trumpet.
Even where Armageddon hasn't happened already, or that the antichrist hasn't done come gone and dropped hell on us right now. I mean Jesus baptises with fire, and He said, so be it if the fire be already kindled. And He has gone down with the keys to the abyss.
