Well, I hardly ever post anything in this forum, but I need advice. I am very low on money and Christmas is fast approaching. Well, this week, no child support! I am very worried. My daughter's father has been paying it regulary through garnishments. But, he still owes me $900. Anywho, we alternate years when we can claim her on taxes. This year is mine, but I wrote him today and told him if he payed off his arrears by Dec. 20, then he could claim her. I must add that he is in a high tax bracket, he and his wife make over $100,000 a year. So, was this a good idea or not?
