I live in PA. My husband and I have our 2 grandbabies (girl, 3 months and boy 17 months). My step daughter and her boyfriend (the babies father) have signed a paper that I drew up for us to have guardianship of the babies. We just got it notarized. My question is, will just having it notarized be legal enough so they can't come here and take the children back whenever they want? They both have been in jail and my step daughter might be going back next week. They party all the time and sleep all day. We don't have the money to hire a lawyer and none of the lawyers around here even give a free consult. The baby girl doesn't even know who her mommy is. Can anyone help? Thanks!!!

I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...
