Indirect support vs. direct support

Do any of you child support payers have experience with paying indirect support, not direct, because the mother is grossly mismanaging the finances?
I know that in GENERAL, you have to pay, and the woman can p*ss the money down the toilet if she wants. But I feel certain that in a case where a mother is mismanaging the money, the best interest of the child is for the money to go directly to daycare or something else like that.
Any of you have experience with this?
In my case there are no drugs or anything like that. However she is a financial idiot. She has a ton of credit cards. She is taking out cash advances every month (!) Then of course the interest rates go up, and she gets deeper in the whole.
It's in no one's interest if I give her cash directly, because the children will not benefit from one penny of it.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I would like to say though, I would have no issue if my ex paid support in that way, as in if he paid certain expenses instead of paying it all to me, because as long as I was getting help it wouldn't much matter to me. but, that is not ever going to happen because he is a deadbeat.
Does it relieve you of paying child support to your ex? No. You could get a court order I suppose but I've never heard of such a arrangement being ordered. Some couples agree to it.
The others have given you good advise. If the kids are taken care of forgetaboutit.
What have we seen of the extra money that he gave her? A $350,000 house that her and her bf can't afford on their saleries, two horses, 6 cars, a horse trailer, top of the line laptop and a new matress and box spring for mom and bf. The oldest boy got their old one which was caving in the middle giving them back problems. But since it's not on a bed frame it doesn't sink in because it's on the floor.
I wish we could do direct support. His cs is supposed to go mainly towards daycare. They don't go to day care. They go to her mothers. But he's still paying for day care.
