Do you think it will help? Will a judge care?

My friend was trying to be helpful and mailed me print outs of my ex's facebook page and also his mothers facebook page.

Almost all of his post talk about getting, being and staying drunk. Chasing after girls and yaddy yada! His mom also has a couple talking about being and getting drunk. I plan to give them to my lawyer. But I'm not trying to stir the pot and make it look like I'm being vindictive. I am just trying to prove that he has no interest in his daughter. He doesn't call, check up or anything. Doesn't go to any Dr visits. attend any therapy sessions with her NOTHING. He doesn't even send me any money but his Facebook talks about him getting new tattoo's

So my question is. Do you think it will help? Does a judge even care about facebook post? Or am i just looking like a vindictive mother? I just want whats best for my little girl and it won't be him taking care of her it will be his mom. That's not what i want. I want him to be a father and if he can't do that then just step aside and leave us alone.

Courts are growing very concerned about the family issues related to Facebook.

It's obvious your ex's agenda is evidenced by his facebook page. Whether the court will give much weight to this kind of evidence, is anyone's guess. But, it can't hurt. After all, what you're seeking to do is undeniably in the best interest of your daughter.

I would not hesitate on giving this information to your attorney. Let him/her decide how to use it, but I would definitely use it if you were my client.

We used a facebook printout as part of our trial for my fiance's daughter. His ex-mother in law commented on a picture of his daughter on his ex's page, basically threatening him and saying how they will "take care of him one way or another". Next thing we know we have a hitman contacting us...so it doesn't hurt to use as evidence. Just make sure to only use exactly what you need that way it doesn't appear you are trying to be vindictive but only looking out for what is best for your child.

Yes. I only printed out what she sent me. I'm not gonna lie I am a little upset. He isn't the least bit interested in his daughter but wants to have decision making power soley for his moms benefit. Can I make it a condition that he needs to care for her without help? Cause for her alone. My mom babysits 2 days a week cause I van afford full-time daycare cause he doesn't help nor had a job.

As for visitation with him I would show ur FB printouts and therefore ask that visitation be supervised by someone other than his mom or even a non family member. And I seen one mother lose custody to their dad, and since she wasnt working when his high priced paid for by his mommy attorney took it to court, they set it up to where she has to babysit while he works since she is unemployed, and thats her way of supporting the twins. So use what u got to benefit ur daughter. Who cares what ne one thinks since ur interest is in her, nothing more.

Well he doesn't have a job, but i would really seriously hope a judge wouldn't let him babysit my special needs daughter when he isn't even apart of her life now. He text once in a great while to ask how she is and that's the extent of it. He does the bare minimum and that's not much at all. I work at a daycare and she goes with me to work so i would hope that a judge wouldn't dare take her and leave her with a unstable, unmedicated man before he got himself together. I just want him to get his life together and be more active in her life before we do unsupervised visits.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
