I have a son who lives with his dad. We broke up because he was a lazy bum and didn't want to work. My son is 4. I had him since he was 3 and because of drama within my family (parents and brothers) he is now with his dad. It's a long story on why this came to be. I am not currently working because I have a daughter with my relationship now who has Down Syndrome. I am unable to work because I have to care for my daughter. What happens if he applies for Welfare because he is too lazy to work and they go after me for child support?? How can I pay if I don't have a job and am unable to collect unemployment or anything like that?? What happens in this case
