I am currently living (un-married) with my child's Father, although we have a rather rocky relationship he is a good, loving Dad and our child loves him dearly. A week or so ago he was pulled-over (by himself) for speeding, they found a small bag of marijuana, no under the influence, etc. Just the small bag of marijuana. He says over and over again that one of his emloyees, (he's a foreman) asked him to buy it for him, says over and over that he hasn't and doesn't smoke-it, etc. I just returned to work after quite some time home with our child, my child's Dad has to pick him up from daycare, at that point it's about 8 hours that our child has been there, it's already a difficult time for our kid adjusting to daycare, he's been really whining, teething, on anti-biotics for a double ear-infection (when it rains it pours, right!) :), etc. There is no way our kid can be in there for what would be almost 12 hrs. before I could be there. What I'm getting at is it still OK for my child's Father to pick our child up from school? Everyone I've asked says I have nothing to worry about, i.e- God-forbid CPS becoming involved, or something. I mean ALL I can do is go on what he has told me, pleaded with me about the pot situation, I honestly don't have any worries, and know that our child is find w/Dad until I get home. Am I being paranoid? I've been know to do that when it comes to my kid. I just want to be sure, I can't find anything online about it. Thanks in advance for your answers. :)

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
