what do u think a 5 year old little girl could've done to deserve being abused...in every way.

The question isn't lame. And the answer is nothing. There is nothing any 5 year old could do deserve abuse. There is nothing any person could do to deserve abuse.

I know where you are coming from...and I ask myself lots of times too why me...I was a baby...I think it's therapuetic to wonder...it's normal..and there are times I am an emotional basket case...some people tell me to move on etc...but it happened to me, and they don't know how it hurts etc...your questions aren't lame...they are questions that need answers and the answers are hard to find because I can't comprehend either why someone would hurt a child...I was starved and beaten almost to death ..and I look at my own children and wonder how anyone could ever do that...you are NOT alone..vent away...

There is nothing, nothing, nothing that a five year old could ever do that is bad enough to deserve being abused. I understand fully what is being your question because I've asked similar questions, myself.

The answer is that you deserved support and love but your parents were incapable of providing it, probably because they did not know how to.
That does not excuse the abuse, however.
**You did nothing to deserve being abused.

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
