I was reminded this morning that we need to remember to offer thanks to God when he answers our prayers.
About a year ago, I started having blood loss issues. We (my doctors and I) were unsure why. I was checked upper and lower GI to make sure it wasn't there. I had units of blood to replace what was lost. I also had iron transfusions because of this.
Then, suddenly, my hematology team decided it might be a side effect of one of the meds I was taking. I need this med because I have suffered from a stroke and heart attach. But, the sideaffects outweighed that. So, the cardiology team had me stop that med and replace with something else. Low dose aspirin. (Which has other side affects, just not as dangerous.)
I have found that God has answered my prayers in this matter. Although I haven't gotten lab results that confirm I have had answers. I am confident God has provided the answers.
So, I want to say
-- THANK YOU GOD!!! --
Hopeful Praise One of my friends was in tears on a beautiful summer day, unable to deal with life’s difficulties. Another could not look beyond the life-altering sadnesses of her past. Still another struggled with the closing of the small church he had pastored faithfully. A fourth friend had lost his job at a local ministry. What can our struggling friends—or any of us—do to find hope?...
