Cervical Cancer Support Group
Cervical cancer is a malignancy of the cervix. Worldwide, it is the second most common cancer of women. It may present with vaginal bleeding but symptoms may be absent until the cancer is in advanced stages, which has made cervical cancer the focus of intense screening efforts utilizing the Pap smear. This is the place to talk about your experience with the cancer.

Yeah. I just went to the Doc. yesterday because of crazy pain in my guy on the right side. Come to find that I have Cervical Cancer thanks to HPV. Recieved it as an early x-mas gift the VERY FIRST time I had sex almost exactly a year ago. Night before x-mas eve day. I don't know what to think... the doc. told me that since it has gone so long it looks like it opened me up for other problems. He said I might also have Gonorrhea or Chlamydia.
I know that it is my own damn fault. For letting myself be used by so many different guys. For not arguing when they said they didn't want to use a condom, didn't like the way it felt, smelled, ect.
All I can do is apologise to myself for being a total slut. And puke.. oh yeah, and have the shits thanks to the antibiotics I was given yesterday.
I was given Tylenol Codiene for the pain I actually went in for. I went in thinking that I had Appendicitis and came out with Cervical Cancer, Gonorrhea,Chlamydia and a possiblity of the pain either being from the diseases, or from a kidney stone.
HAHAHAH!
One of those times when you wonder why you are even living. What fucking perpose am I possibly serving here. None, exactly... Thank you.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Do not beat yourself up. I understand that you had unprotected sex, however you can't blame yourself. I didn't have HPV, but I got cervical cancer anyway. WHY? I don't know...I've asked myself that soooo many times, but I still don't know. The only thing that I do know is that I will fight it with everything I have, I have been cancer free for a year and a half, but worry all the time it will come back. And the only thing I can do if it does---FIGHT IT. I am only 35 years old. This was a shock to me. But so far so good. Feel free to message me anytime, and I will be here to help in any way I can. Take care.
