My daughter is four years old. Her CP is very very mild and mostly just left sided. We recently began taking her to Shriner's Hospital for her care and it has been the most wonderful experience for us. She has a new team of people caring for her there. Well at the first meeting with the team the doctor and physical therapist there told us that my daughter didn't really need traditional PT anymore. She said that she thought my daughter really needed stamina, strength and balance worked on and she would be better off being put in tumbling, dance and other activities. Has anyone else been given this advice? Any ideas as to what activities?
